Bio: With an ex-nun for a mother, how could Matt Toomey become anything other than a stand-up comedian? Lacking social skills, athletic prowess, and basic academic ability, he sought a career as a writer. In 2009, eager to test out a sketch comedy bit he’d been working on, Matt stumbled onto his first stage and a comedian was born. That same year he was selected as a finalist in the Beantown Comedy Riot. Since that time he has played clubs on both coasts including The Comedy Store, Improv Asylum, and The Laugh Factory.
