Bio: Chipp Jones 1404 Lawrence St. NE Washington DC 20017 202.412.7690 Chipp's Standup comedy was a gift. During a difficult year when his wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor, Chipp's wife, Sue gave him comedy classes at the DC Improv for their 17th wedding anniversary. After surgery to remove it, he performed a 12-minute bit called "Tumor Humor" for his graduation showcase. The crowd loved it and he has pursued comedy since, performing at many of the local venues in the Washington DC area as well as Standup NY and the Gotham Club in New York City. He has twice been in the semi-finals for the "So You Think You Are Funny" comedy contest in Maryland and has also performed as an audience warm up for the PBS show "Money Wise." Chipp lives in the DC area with his wife and son, and runs his own computer consulting business.
